Two separate bombings in Baghdad, more than 22 killed and 70 injured

Baghdad, On thursday more than 22 people were killed and 70 injured in two seperate bombings in Baghdad, one targeting a commercial street and the other an army checkpoint.

When Iraq forces are trying to dislodge Islamic State militants from Falluja, then the attacks came.

In a commercial street of Baghdad al-Jadeda, a car packed with explosive blew with kiling atleast 15 people and over 50 injured.

Police said, a suicide car bomb also targeted a main army checkpoint in Taji, kiling 7 soldiers and wounding 20 people.
