This child, named Sujit, suddenly fell into a borewell while playing at 5 pm on Friday. After that, the Tamil Nadu government is making every effort to get the child out safely. The fire department and others have been trying to save since Friday evening. Initially, machines were used to dig a pit near the borewell to reach the child, but it was stopped in the middle due to the rocky terrain. An attempt to break it creates vibrations, which can push the soil inside the borewell, allowing the child to reach deeper.
