Disclosing the incident, DSP Harendra Mahawar of Jaipur said that the girl was raped on Monday night from the under-construction building of NHI in front of Element Mall. On action, it was found that the girl's family lives near the building under construction, who works in the building, raped the girl and escaped from there. Seeing the seriousness of the case, the police formed a special team. Teams from about 5 police stations continued to search for the culprit in the Karni Vihar and Shyamnagar area at night. Meanwhile, police in civilian clothes were also deployed at the scene so that the criminal could not run away after seeing the police and could be apprehended. Police got information in the morning that a young man was going towards the bus stand with a towel covered. When the police asked him to stop, he told his name Ranjit. When the police suspected him, he was strictly questioned, and he tried to run towards the truck. He was injured as he fell while running. After which the police took him into custody. The accused confessed to his crime in the interrogation. Police said that the accused is a resident of Hindauli of Bundi and works as a laborer in the building under construction in front of Element Mall.
