Under-19 Asia Cup: Team India set a target of 238 runs against PAK

Dubai: India has set a target of 238 runs to win over arch-rivals Pakistan in the Under-19 Asia Cup match. Pakistan gave India all out for 237 runs in 49 overs. Aaradhya Yadav scored the highest 50 runs for India. Apart from him, opener Harnoor Singh contributed 46 runs. Syed Zeeshan Jamir took the highest five-wicket haul for Pakistan.

Earlier, Pakistan won the toss and called India to bat first. But India had a very poor start. Team India lost 5 wickets for just 96 runs. India's top batting and middle order failed completely except Harnoor Singh, the hero of the previous match. Kaushal Tambe and Aaradhya then shared a half-century partnership. Kaushal Tambe scored 32 runs. Apart from him, Rajvardhan Hangergekar scored 30 off 20 balls in the final overs.

India started their campaign in the Under-19 Asia Cup with a win. Team India defeated United Arab Emirates (UAE) by 15 runs on Thursday.  Batting first in the match, India scored a challenging 282 for the loss of five wickets in the stipulated 50 overs thanks to Harnoor's century and skipper Yash Dhul's half-century. Chasing a target of 283 runs, he gave UAE 128 runs in 34.3 overs.
