Unexpected Twist: Joe Biden Spotted Wearing Trump 2024 Cap at 9/11 Memorial

During a visit to the Shanksville Fire Station on the anniversary of September 11, President Joe Biden was briefly seen wearing a “Trump 2024” cap. The moment, captured in a photo and video, quickly gained traction on social media, leading to widespread speculation and surprise.

The image was shared by the 'Trump War Room' on Instagram, sparking comments like, "Kamala got beat so bad last night that even Biden is now endorsing President Trump." The post was followed by a similar message on X, expressing gratitude for Biden's unexpected support.

The viral footage led to a flurry of reactions online, with some users expressing disbelief, saying things like, "Joe Biden just put on a Trump 2024 campaign cap. This is not a joke… he really did."

In response, White House Senior Deputy Press Secretary Andrew Bates clarified the situation. He explained that during the visit, President Biden spoke about the need for bipartisan unity in the wake of 9/11. As a gesture of goodwill, Biden gave a hat to a Trump supporter, who then suggested that the President should wear the “Trump 2024” cap in the spirit of unity. Biden briefly obliged.

Some fact-checkers pointed out that Biden's gesture was intended to show unity, not an endorsement of Trump's campaign. They noted that Biden had also exchanged hats with the supporter, giving them a Harris hat in return.

The incident comes shortly after the first US presidential debate between Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris, who will be competing against each other in the November 5 elections.
