New Delhi According to sources, the Union budget will be presented on February 1 at 11 a.m. President Ramnath Kovind will address the joint session of Parliament the day before, on January 31. The Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha will meet at different times in accordance with COVID-19 norms. According to the sources, the Lower House will meet from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the evening, while the Rajya Sabha will meet from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the morning. The timings for both houses will begin at 11 a.m. on January 31 and February 1, according to the sources. According to sources, the first portion of Parliament's budget session will take place from January 31 to February 11 while the second part will take place from March 14 to April 8. Meanwhile, the Economic Survey will be presented on January 31 at 12 p.m. According to analysts, the Union Budget 2022 may allocate large sums for food and fertiliser subsidies for 2022-23, similar to the Revised Estimates for the current fiscal year, as global commodity prices remain high and the poorest sections of society continue to suffer from the Covid-19 pandemic's distress.
