Unity and Prosperity: Yogi Adityanath Calls for National Solidarity in Agra

Agra:On Monday, August 26, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath emphasized the importance of national unity during an inauguration event in Agra, coinciding with the Janmashtami festival.

In his address, Adityanath highlighted the need for unity to achieve national prosperity, cautioning against repeating mistakes seen in neighboring Bangladesh. He stated, "If divided, we will be weakened. If united, we will be strong and prosperous."

The Chief Minister's comments were a response to recent turmoil in Bangladesh, where anti-government protests and violence against the Hindu minority have raised concerns. Adityanath urged, "We must avoid such mistakes in our country. Unity is key to security and progress."

During the event, Adityanath unveiled a statue of Durga Das Rathore, a 17th-century commander known for his resistance against the Mughal ruler Aurangzeb. He expressed pride in honoring Rathore during the centenary year of the 'Kakori Train Action' and on Janmashtami.

"The legacy of heroes like Rathore strengthens our nation. No foreign invader can harm a country with such valor," Adityanath said. He also praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision for a developed India by 2047, urging collective effort to achieve this goal.

Adityanath underscored Agra's cultural significance, describing it as a region deeply connected to Lord Krishna, rich in art, culture, and devotion. He reinforced Prime Minister Modi's "panch-pran" (five resolves), which include eliminating symbols of colonial past, honoring soldiers, and fostering unity.

The Chief Minister concluded with a call to resist divisive forces and work together to establish India as a global power.
