This player who made India the world champion is struggling now

New Delhi: Unmukt Chand made headlines by making Team India the world champion in 2012. Unmukt started playing domestic cricket at the age of 16 only. He won the 2012 World Cup to India under his captaincy. Everything was going well for Unmukt Chand, but his form declined completely. He was struggling to stay in his state team as well. He was dropped from the Delhi team last season and was not selected for the Vijay Hazare Trophy.

He also played in IPL, but due to his poor form, he was also out there. Now Unmukt is all set to make a fresh start with the new team once again. He will now be seen playing for Uttarakhand in the coming domestic season and he has also been made the captain of the team. The 26-year-old batsman has been in and out of the Delhi team over the years.

Because of this, he was forced to change his Ranji team. He said that for the last 2-3 years he did not play well for Delhi. He also bounced back several times, but I was repeatedly dropped. Now for me every match is like my comeback match. Playing for Delhi was a great experience for me, but Uttarakhand is now the next challenge for me. This place is like home for me. I hope I will be able to do well for this team.
