Lucknow: UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has started a campaign by feeding pulse polio drop at Dufferin Hospital in Lucknow. Now the Pulse Polio campaign has started in all the districts of the state. CM Yogi addressed the people by launching the campaign at Dufferin Hospital. We have seen countless cases of polio before, but with the World Health Organization and organizations like UNICEF India has played a big role in protecting the population of our country from the polio-like disease. This is a great example inside the world."

He further said, ''The last case of polio in the country was seen in the year 2010. India was declared free from polio in March 2014, but because countries like Pakistan, Afghanistan, Nigeria are still seeing many cases of polio. Its infection does not spread to the children here inside India, so this campaign still needs to be carried out. Today we are all associated with this campaign in the sequence of this campaign."

With this, he said, 'Even though a child is born in one family, it is a priceless heritage of a nation. It is necessary for every citizen to be healthy in order to build a healthy and strong India. For this, the state government runs several campaigns from time to time in collaboration with the Government of India. You must have felt this for the last year. Physicians, health workers have proved in the last one year that even though the health infrastructure inside UP has been useless due to any circumstances, our self-confidence, teamwork, and strong will not hold us back from producing any results.' In further address, CM Yogi also talked about the progress made in Uttar Pradesh.
