UP govt preparing to attach property of ex-minister Haji Yakub, high court to hear it again tomorrow

Lucknow: After the rejection of a petition filed in the High Court against veteran Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) leader and former UP cabinet minister Haji Yakub and his family members, it is now set to tighten the screws. It is being told that the police and administration are now preparing for the attachment of haji Yakub's house.  

At the same time, the petition filed in the High Court regarding the demolition of Yakub's meat plant is scheduled to be heard on May 10. Let us know that Haji Jacob's difficulties are not taking the name of being less. Yakub has suffered a major setback when the high court dismissed his petition in the case registered after the raid at the meat plant on March 31. After the rejection of the petition by the court, the way has now been opened to the police and administration for action. The police have already obtained a non-bailable warrant against Haji Yaqoob from the court. Now the arrest of Haji Yaqoob and the action of attachment of his property is also possible anytime.

At the same time, the notice issued by the Meerut Development Authority (MDA) on the demolition of the meat plant is scheduled to be heard in the High Court on May 10. At present, demolition proceedings are on hold till May 10. A further hearing will take place in the High Court after the MDA's reply. After the high court's order, the way will be cleared by the MDA to take action on the property of former minister Haji Yaqoob.
