UP govt to amend strict laws against property grab by children of older parents

Lucknow: Many cases have come up from UP in which children grab the property of their parents and expel them from the house. This thing is old because it will not happen now. Those who do so are going to get strict punishment. It is being told that the Yogi government is engaged in preparing new rules against those who seize the property of parents and evict them. Now such reports will not come.

There are reports that the government is preparing for its amendment by including the process of eviction in 'Uttar Pradesh Parents and Senior Citizens Maintenance and Welfare Rules-2014'. The Uttar Pradesh State Law Commission has prepared and sent a draft of the amendment to the government. This manual was made in the year 2014. In this manual, a detailed action plan was not made to protect the property of elderly parents and senior citizens.

After many court decisions in such cases, it was found that the old parents removed their own children from their property, or they were not treated well. For this reason, the Law Commission itself has prepared a detailed action plan of the Rules-2014.
