UP shocker! UP man kills sister, buries body in home

LUCKNOW: A 27-year-old man allegedly killed his sister for having an affair with a man, in what appears to be an act of honour, and buried her body inside the home in the village of Parli, which is located outside of the city near the Sairpur police station.

The suspect, Himanshu Singh, was detained by the police.

The accused and his sister Shivani Singh, 22, reportedly used to live alone because their parents passed away five years prior.

On the day of the incident, Himanshu and Shivani got into an argument over the latter's relationship with a neighbouring villager.

Himanshu allegedly strangled his sister with a dupatta before burying her body inside the home.

After learning that the girl was gone from the home a day later, the police arrived in the area.

The floor of one of the house's two rooms had been dug up, according to Qasim Abdi, deputy commissioner of police for Lucknow North.

"Himanshu initially made an effort to deceive the cops. However, when they pressed him about his missing sister, he came clean "the official added.

After being exhumed, the body was taken for an autopsy.

No villager or relative reported the crime to the police in writing, therefore the police themselves recognised the crime and filed an FIR.
