Lucknow: The Yogi government of the country's largest state, UP, has announced the offering to MSME units in 16 cities. The Yogi government has decided to set up 17 Common Facility Centers for MSME units in 16 cities. Under the Micro and Small Enterprises Cluster Development Function of the Central Government, Rs. 155.95 crore will be spent. With the decision of the Yogi government, the units will get ease in manufacturing, marketing, packaging, testing lab, raw material and bank-related work. Talking about district-wise facilities, two clusters will be formed in Jhansi, in which processing of spices and food grains will be packaging. While handloom clusters will be formed in Ranipur, Chikankari in Barabanki, Jool Wall Hanging in Ghazipur, Purvanchal Agro Industries in Chandauli and Hitech Silk Weaving and Design Cluster in Varanasi. Carpet and Dari in Sonbhadra, Uttar Pradesh, Brass Ware Utensil in Santakbir Nagar, Terracotta and Pottery in Gorakhpur, Chikankari in Lakhimpur Kheri, Zari-Zardozi in Badaun and Wooden Processing Cluster in Moradabad will be developed. This decision has been taken by the Yogi government. In addition, Leather Goods in Meerut, Processing and Product Development Center in Sambhal, Jute Rope Yarn in Azamgarh, Plastic in Gautam Budh Nagar and Leather Footwear Cluster in Saharanpur will be set up.
