On this occasion, he said that the government will provide 100 days of employment in a financial year to adults and skilled workers residing in urban areas.
The Chief Minister said that a large number of people have become unemployed during the Corona period. For such people, this scheme has been started for urban areas and rural areas. Under this project, youngsters above 18 years of age will be provided employment within 15 days after registration. The government will give unemployment allowance. Starting the project online from the project building auditorium, CM also gave a job card to 5 people of Ranchi Municipal Corporation area.
On this occasion, Vinay Kumar Choubey, Secretary, Municipal Development Department, told that the government will provide ten days of employment to people living in urban areas. Employment of the ongoing scheme will be given in various departments. For this, workers will have to apply on the portal http://may.jharkhand.gov.in. Wages will be paid through bank accounts after the end of work or after one week. An annual budget will be made for this scheme every time. The state government hopes that the scheme will benefit 5 lakh poor families living in urban areas of the state.
