US, Russian crew gets back to the home planet after 6months

The United States and Russian crew recently returned to the Earth after the 6month stay in the space. The crew members stayed 250 miles above the Earth, out of them, one is still in the space to break the world record.

These astronauts were connected with many of the research laboratories. The previous record of being in the space was of 534 days and now NASA’s Peggy Whitson is targeting to break this record and then return to the home planet.

Station commander Shane Kimbrough gave a statement, “It’s really neat to be part of something this big, something bigger than ourselves … even bigger than a nation.”

Later on, he further added,“We get the ability up here to interact with things that actually benefit all of the humanity. It’s really humbling.”
