Lucknow: A shameful case of wife swapping has come to light in Uttar Pradesh's Muzaffarnagar. Here, the victim has told that the husband fraudulently took her to the Wife Exchange Party in Delhi and there she was molested. In this case, the victim pleaded for justice from the police, but when no action was taken from there, she moved the court. Now, after the court's direction, a case has been registered against her husband and brother-in-law. The victim is a resident of the Nai Mandi Kotwali area. Her second marriage was to a man in Gurugram on January 14, 2021. In the beginning, everything went well. One day her husband, on the pretext of shopping, fraudulently took her to Delhi for a wife exchange party. The woman says that there she was raped. It is also alleged that after that, the husband raped her unnaturally after she refused to go to the wife's exchange party. Not only this, but the victim has also told that her brother-in-law has also raped her several times. When she complained to her husband about it, he ignored it. On the contrary, the husband said that he (brother-in-law) is not married yet and will have to stay like this till he gets married. During this time, she was beaten several times. When she protested, the husband gave her a separate rented room in Gurugram. It is alleged that her brother-in-law went there and raped her and took off her video. On making a complaint to the police, he threatened her to make the video viral on the internet. The victim has said that she also complained about the matter to the Muzaffarnagar SSP and the thana police, but no action was taken. When she did not get justice from the police, the victim finally moved the court. Following this, on the orders of the SGM-1 court, in this case, the New Mandi Kotwali police registered sections 376, 307, and 323 of the IPC against the husband and the brother-in-law. A case has been registered in 504 and 506 and an investigation has been initiated into the matter.
