Man killes girl's brother after he stopped him to call her

Gorakhpur: Gorakhpur district police of Uttar Pradesh solved a murder case on Monday and arrested the accused in just 8 hours and sent him behind bars. The youth protested against molesting the sister and forbade the accused to talk to the sister over the phone. Hower the accused didn't understand. As part of the conspiracy, the accused called the woman's brother and then killed him and threw the body into the pond.

Police said that the body of a 25-year-old youth was found lying in a pond in Barohi village of Sikri Ganj police station area on Sunday morning. He was identified as Surjeet, a resident of the neighboring village of Avarrup. It is being told that Surjeet left his house at 6 pm on Saturday, December 5, since then he had not returned. Then his maternal grandfather Ram Pragat filed a missing report. The police started an investigation and based on the suspicion investigated the CDR (call detail recording) of the mobile. After this, the police was suspicious of Deepender Singh alias Sintu, a resident of Barohi village of Sikri Ganj. Then it was learned that he had called Surjit's sister 364 times in 45 days. The police arrested the accused Deepender Singh on the basis of suspicion. When strictly questioned, he confessed the murder.

He told the police that he used to talk to the deceased Surjeet's sister over the phone. When Surjit, the deceased, knew about the conversation, he stopped him from talking. Deepender Singh became enraged about this. On Saturday evening, accused Devendra Singh called Surjeet near the spot and killed him.
