Lucknow: Uniforms are provided to the students in the council schools of Uttar Pradesh, but now the uniform will not be given by the government. Rather, the government will send money directly in lieu of this. To buy uniforms, shoes, socks, and bags, the money will be sent directly by the government to the account of the guardian of the student studying in the council school. For this, the education department of UP has started preparing. According to the Basic Education Department of Uttar Pradesh, now Rs 1100 will be provided to the students of the council school for buying uniforms, shoes-socks, and bags. The basic Education Department is preparing that these funds will be sent directly to the parents' account. According to the information, Basic Education Department is in the process of implementing this system from the next academic session i.e. 2021-22. A proposal will be sent to the Cabinet to implement this arrangement from the Education Session 2021-22 on behalf of the Basic Education Department. It is said that an estimate of Rs 1100 has been prepared by the department on the basis of the estimated cost for uniforms, bags, sweaters, and shoe socks. According to the department, each student studying in the council school will be given Rs 600 for two pairs of uniforms.
