Traffic police issued Challan of 18 thousand rupees, auto driver died due to shock

Jaunpur: In the line market area of Jaunpur district in Uttar Pradesh, a auto- driver due to shock of as Traffice police fined him Rs 18,000. Police sources said on Thursday that the challan was deducted by the Transport Officer of the Transport Department on August 31, auto driver Ganesh Agarhari, resident of Kalichabad village in Line Bazar area.

The transport department has alleged that it did not have an auto permit. The environment certificate and driving license were also not present with the driver. Apart from this, three more deficiencies were also found. A total challan of 18 thousand five hundred rupees was made on this. At the same time, family members allege that Ganesh fell ill after the challan was cut. He was taken to local doctors. But not recovering, he was taken to Varanasi. Where he died on 23 September in a private hospital. When the information of this matter reached the DM, he has sought a report from the Transport Department.

DM Arvind Malappa Bangari took information from ARTO Enforcement Udayveer Singh. The official who issues challan said that on August 31, the challan was cut after six loopholes were found during the investigation. According to the old MVACT of the driver, a challan of 18 and a half thousand was made. The new challan rule was not enforced at that time.
