UP: Dogs attacked deer, badly injured

Lucknow: A deer was scratched and badly injured by dogs in Uttar Pradesh's capital Lucknow after which police who rushed to the spot informed the forest department team. The forest department team took the injured deer with them where it is being treated. It is yet to be ascertained where the deer came from towards the village.

According to reports, the deer, which suddenly came to Bagha Mau village in Gomti Nagar extension of Lucknow, was surrounded by dogs and attacked. The deer was injured in the attack. When the villagers saw the deer trapped in a dog trunk, they drove the dogs away, after which it could hardly save its life. The villagers informed the police that the deer was injured. The police who reached the spot informed the forest department team, but the deer was lying on the road for several hours with injuries, but the forest department team did not reach the spot.

After a long time the forest department team reached the village, after which the deer was taken with them for treatment. Where the deer came from is yet to be ascertained. It has been reported that the deer is undergoing treatment, but its condition is not very good. The forest department team is also trying to find out where the deer came from in Bagha Mau village.
