Lucknow: A case of gang rape of a woman BJP leader from Meerut in Uttar Pradesh has come to light. A case has been registered against a woman and three youths belonging to a particular community in connection with the gang-rape case. The victim is the leader of the BJP's Mahila Morcha. The main accused has been identified as Abdullah. The case being of 2 communities has created an atmosphere of tension in the region. Police have registered a case and launched a search for the accused. The incident is said to have taken place on Tuesday (December 21st). According to media reports, the case pertains to Kashiram Colony on Hapur Road in the Kharkhoda police station area. The time of the incident is 8 p.m. The victim is a mother of 3 children. She is having a fight with her husband. It is alleged that a woman belonging to a particular community had called the BJP leader and called her to her house. Meanwhile, the BJP leader was drugged in a cold drink. The accused woman then called her boyfriend Abdullah and his 2 accomplices. He gang-raped the BJP leader while she was unconscious. The victim was found unconscious in a park the next morning. Locals admitted her to the hospital. The woman leader lodged a police complaint when she regained consciousness. The victim has undergone a medical test. Meerut SSP Prabhakar Chaudhary said that the accused are being searched.
