UP Police burst illegal liquor factory in degree college, 3 arrested

Meerut: Illegal liquor factory has been exposed in the degree college which has been closed for three years in Uttar Pradesh's Meerut district. The liquor was supplied by putting wrappers at the distillery at Mansurpur. Police arrested three accused and seized 100 cases of liquor from the spot. The main accused is being told to be Sachin absconder of Sardhana, whose search is going on.

Mahendra Pratap Degree College near Pepla village on Bhola Road under Jani Police Station has been closed for three years. Kankarkheda and Jani police raided the college on Thursday night on the information of the informer. Where the illegal liquor factory was found to be running. Police arrested three accused Vikas, Bhura resident Pepla and Chowkidar Zakir from the spot.

According to the police, in addition to the 100 cases of liquor from the spot, 20 thousand wrappers, 30 thousand liquor, five thousand litres of liquor solution were recovered from a drum in the name of the distillery at Mansurpur in Muzaffarnagar. Other brewery items have also been seized. Police said that the work of making spurious liquor was going on in the closed college. The brewery was being supplied from Parikshitgarh and Hastinapur Khadar area.
