SP leader's son accused of abducting girl

Lucknow: Rajol Singh, son of late Fateh Bahadur Singh, a former Minister of State of the Samajwadi Party (SP) in Unnao, Uttar Pradesh, has been accused of molesting a girl. The girl's mother had earlier lodged a complaint with the Unnao police, but even after that, no action has been taken against Rajol Singh. Hurt by this, the victim's mother on Monday came in front of SP president Akhilesh Yadav's car outside the Samajwadi Party (SP) office in Lucknow and tried to immolate herself by pouring petrol. However, the police have somehow rescued the victim's mother.

The family alleged that 50 days have passed since the incident, but the police have not even launched a search for their daughter. Forced to commit suicide, the mother reached the Samajwadi Party office, where she attempted to commit suicide. The Unnao police have now come into action after seeing the case becoming high profile. Additional SP Shashishekhar Singh said that the accused is being taken into custody and interrogated. He said two teams have been deployed in search of the abductor for the safe recovery of the abductor. Police are currently investigating the case.

Rita Devi's wife Mukesh, a resident of Kashiram in the Unnao Sadar Kotwali area, had filed a case in Sadar Kotwali. On December 8, 2021, it was written about the kidnapping of her 22-year-old daughter. He was also accused of assault. It was alleged that Rajol Singh alias Arun Singh's son Fateh Bahadur, along with several of his associates, had forcibly kidnapped his daughter while going to the market. The police had registered a case on the basis of the complaint, but the police have been in touch with late SP leader Fateh Bahadur Singh as a former minister. However, the police had registered a case under sections of SC/ST and assault, including kidnapping, in the entire case.
