Three inmates escaped by throwing chilli powder in the eyes of policemen

Sambhal: Three prisoners have escaped after police appeared in The Chandausi court on Wednesday (July 17) in Sambal Janpad in Uttar Pradesh. According to information, the police was on their way to Moradabad jail after the three prisoners were produced before the court. In the meantime, the inmates put pepper powder in the eyes of two police personnel present in the police van and shot them to death. The crooks took the rifle of the two soldiers and came out. The incident took place on Wednesday evening at Chandausi police station area of Sambal district.

The incident has stirred up the entire police department. Following the report of the incident, the SP of Sambhal has issued strict orders to arrest the absconding prisoners. Checkpoints are being set up to search for absconding crooks. The incident is reported to be from Baniyathar police station area of Sambhal Janpad. On Wednesday evening, at around 4 p.m., constables Harendra Singh and Brajpal, who were on their way back to Moradabad from the police van after the inmates appeared in the Chandusi court, were carrying 24 prisoners in the van.

The van reached the Moradabad-Agra highway in Thana Baniyather area. Three inmates sitting in the van suddenly threw pepper powder into the eyes of constables Harendra Singh and Brajpal Singh and the rest of the prisoners. Before the two policemen could do anything, the inmates shot the cops Harendra Singh and Brajpal with an already-held pistol and snatched their rifles, then broke the channel gate of the van and fled.
