Massive fire erupts in Nainital, British-era kothi burned

Nainital: The city of Lakes witnessed a fire on Friday night in Nainital. The British kothi was burnt down due to a massive fire. As the road narrowed, the fire department's car was reported to have had difficulty in reaching the spot, saying the fire had earlier erupted in a building in the Arif Hotel area of Mallital.

After which the fire engulfed the entire building. The old residential building consists of retired professor PC Tiwari and Prakash Pandey. The professor is said to have been out of the house a few days ago. The fire also engulfed the adjacent British kothi. The building was also burnt down in the fire. The fire was immediately reported to the fire army. Locals tried to extinguish the fire with buckets and tap water until the fire brigade drove.

The fire was so horrific that it could be seen clearly from all over the city. The fire took a catastrophic form in this historic wooden building. The hydrant of water around the area could not work either. The clear cause of the fire is not clear, but short circuits are also being considered as one of the reasons. It is currently under investigation.
