Dehradun: People's anger is increasing over the famous Ankita Bhandari murder case of Uttarakhand. Hundreds of Anganwadi workers also took to the streets in Kotdwar to get justice for Ankita. Anganwadi workers gathered at Jhanda Chowk and marched to the tehsil premises. Anganwadi workers have sent a memorandum to the CM through the tehsildar. In this memorandum, it has been demanded that the investigation of Ankita's murder should be done in a fast-track court and the culprits should be hanged as soon as possible. Anganwadi workers also said that the criminals have not been taken into police custody by the SIT formed so far. Anganwadi workers alleged laxity in the investigation. Anganwadi workers also questioned the bulldozing of Ankita's room at the resort without the CM's order. There was also resentment among Anganwadi workers about public representatives and leaders of the area. Anganwadi workers accused public representatives and leaders of the area of not trying to get justice for Ankita. Expressing outrage, District President of Anganwadi organization Poonam Kainthola said that the crime committed with Ankita in the resort on September 18, should be heard in a fast-track court. The investigation by the government is still going on. The laxity in the investigation we see is increasing outrage. He also said that unless there is a violent agitation in Uttarakhand, hardly justice will be given to Ankita. Poonam further said that Ankita's mother is an Anganwadi worker and we will organize a movement in the whole of Uttarakhand. He said that politics has become so prominent that the chair has become dearer to the leaders than the life of a daughter. This is not a political fight. This is a fight for the survival of the daughter. RBI unlikely to extend the deadline for card tokenization Two blasts in J&K within 8 hours, did terrorists get enraged by PFI ban?
