Vedanta boards approves first interim dividend of Rs. 9.50

Metal mining conglomerate Vedanta Limited has approved first interior divined of Rs.9.50.  This has been stated after the Board of Directors the company through resolution passed by circulation on Saturday, October 24, 2020.  It has  have approved First Interim Dividend of Rs. 9.50 per equity share i.e. 950 percent on face value of Re. 1.00 per share for the Financial Year 2020-21 amounting to Rs. 3,500 Crores. 

As stated by the board of Vedanta Limited, the record date for the purpose of payment of dividend is Saturday, October 31, 2020. The interim dividend will be paid within stipulated timelines as prescribed under law.

Reacting the development in divident, shares of Vedanta Limited in the National Stock Exchange, on Monday during morning session, being quoted at Rs. 105.05 per share, up by 0.29 percent from previous closing. The stock is expected to rise more in today’s trading session. The stock opened at Rs104.75 and touched a high and low of Rs. 106.90 and 103.50 respectively. Meantime, the BSE benchmark Sensex quoted at 40570-level, down by 113 points, while the NSE Nifty touches at 11899-level down by 32 points in trade, during morning. Session.
