VHP delegation to meet Kejriwal to mobilize support for Ram Mandir construction

Ayodhya: The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) delegation is expected to meet leaders of opposition parties, including Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, in the coming days over its campaign to raise funds for the construction of the grand Ram temple in Ayodhya. On Monday, the delegation met Delhi Lieutenant Governor (LG) Anil Baijal.

Lieutenant Governor Baijal contributed Rs 1 lakh for temple construction. According to sources, a team of VHP officials will meet CM Kejriwal this week. The delegation is said to be meeting congress leaders soon. However, sources close to him refused to comment on whether the team had sought time to meet former Congress president Rahul Gandhi. The process of raising funds for temple construction will continue till February 27 in more than 5,00,000 villages in the country.

The VHP member said that whoever wants to contribute to temple construction, he can. This campaign is not limited to one clause or political party. The campaign to construct a magnificent Ram temple in Ayodhya is continuing in different parts of the country. People with unwavering faith in Lord Rama are contributing with their reverence. The faith in the Ram temple is cooperating in accordance with their own reverence.
