Bhopal: The police have got a major breakthrough from MP's capital Bhopal, the Yena police have arrested two weeds smugglers. The culprits were carrying weeds stuffed inside the LPG kit. The value of the recovered weeds is said to be Rs 5 lakh. According to the information received from Kolar police, a tip-off was received from the informer that two persons were coming from Mandideep towards the Kolar area of Bhopal in a white coloured Alto car. On the basis of this Tahrir, the Kolar police started the investigation of the vehicles by installing barricades. At the barricade, the police stopped the car whose number was MP 04 HC 0223. When two persons sitting in it were questioned, they gave their name as Dinesh Thakur, a resident of Goharganj district Raisen, while the other, Shubham Thakur, also gave the name of Goharganj district Raisen. On searching the car, 20 pieces of packets wrapped in the khaki-coloured tape were found inside the tank of the gas kit in the car's dickey. Thereafter, he asked both the criminals to open the packet. They saw that it was filled with a large amount of weeds. On interrogation, the criminals were told that weeds were brought from the forests of Muddimguda in Telangana.
