Video!! Priyanka Chopra visited Ukrainian refugees, The invisible wounds of war…

Priyanka Chopra is the goodwill Ambassadar of UNICEF. The actress visited the Ukrainian refugees. The actress herself took the Instagram and shares several pictures and videos from her visit.

The actress also wrote, “These are convention centres. There are about five of these which are filled with thousands and thousands of displaced people from Ukraine.”

The actress also wrote, “This is an expo centre in Warsaw, Poland. No comic con or a jewellery exhibition happens here...this entire place is now a safe space, a reception centre for families from Ukraine.”

While also captioned another picture and said that the crisis of women and children, “I want to emphasise, this is a mother and children crisis. 90% of the people crossing the border are mothers and children as the men are required to stay behind.”

 

The actress also spend some time with the children. Sharing the picture she wrote, “The common thread I have seen among kids fleeing conflict, no matter where that is, is that their art is so similar. Art therapy is used to help kids express their feelings, whether that is love, anger, hope, or fear.”

The actress also wrote with one of the picture and wrote,  “The invisible wounds of war are the ones we don’t usually see on the news. Yet, they were so evident to me today as started day 1 of my @unicef mission in Warsaw. 2/3 of Children from Ukraine have been displaced (internally and externally). This HUGE number is the devastating reality of a war where 90% of the people crossing the border are women and children. 70% of those who have fled, crossed the border into Poland, and large government supported Reception Centres have been set up to make the transition as easy as possible.”
