21-year-old Vidisha creates history by becoming the first Indian to win the Miss Deaf World Pageant!

Vidisha Balyan, a resident of Uttar Pradesh, has clinched the Miss Deaf World 2019 title. The beauty contest took place in Bombayla in South Africa and Vidisha is the first Indian woman to have named the beauty pageant. Vidisha, 21, is deaf, she lives in Muzaffarnagar and is also a modelling student of the Asian Academy of Film and Television.

The final round of the event was attended by 11 finalists from 16 countries. South Africa has been a contender after Vidisha at number two. Vidisha's listening capacity is extremely low and she looked very excited after her win and shared a number of photos on Instagram. She captioned a photo saying that winning this title is like a dream come true. There are a lot of people who have lost their hearing ability but are highly talented and have chances.

According to information, Vidisha is from Muzaffarnagar, though her family lives in Ghaziabad. Vidisha had prepared for the competition in Gurgaon and Noida. She has also represented her country as an international tennis player at the Olympics. On the other hand, due to a back injury, she decided to withdraw from tennis and then decided to participate in the beauty pageant.
