The film has crossed the 100 crore collection mark at the box office in three days. The film's collection figures have been released by trade analyst Kaushik LM. He has said that this is the 6th consecutive film of Vijay which has collected over Rs 100 crore. The film has been released in a total of 6 countries. Apart from India, the film is making good collections in the rest of the countries. The film has been released in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi. A long line of the audience is being seen in cinemas to watch the film. The director and producer of the film is Lokesh Kangararaj. In this film, Vijay is playing the role of a professor who is addicted to drinking. People consider Vijay in college to be professor less student. The professor is confronted with some criminals who do wrong with the students. Master was to be released in cinemas in April last year, but the release of the film was averted at that time due to the Corona epidemic.
