Patna: Mukesh Sahni's Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP) has made a significant move by joining the Grand Alliance, a political coalition in Bihar. This decision was announced by the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), a prominent member of the alliance. Tejashwi Yadav, the leader of RJD, revealed that his party has allocated three seats from its quota to accommodate Sahni's VIP. These seats have been identified as Gopalganj, Jhanjharpur, and Motihari. Earlier speculations had suggested that RJD had proposed a merger with Mukesh Sahni's party, which Sahni declined. However, the recent development confirms that VIP has decided to align itself with the Grand Alliance, marking a significant political development in Bihar. Tejashwi Yadav expressed his contentment over Sahni's inclusion in the Grand Alliance, emphasizing the importance of this decision in bolstering Indian democracy. He welcomed Sahni and his party into the alliance, indicating a unified front among the members of the coalition. This move underscores the evolving dynamics of Bihar's political landscape as parties strategically position themselves ahead of the upcoming elections.
