Gurugram: The video of a middle-aged woman being accused of criticizing the dress sense of a group of girls has been going viral on social media. The woman allegedly asked seven men at a restaurant to rape the group because they were wearing short dresses. The video has been uploaded on Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook. The girl's group followed the middle-aged woman in the entire store and asked her to apologize for the statement made by her. On being asked to apologize, the woman refused to repeat her statement and told the girl filming the video to "go to hell". She also asked the store staff to call the police. Another woman who was visiting stood up in support of the girls and asked the woman to apologize. A mother herself, the woman stated that it is women like her who encourage males to nurture a patriarchal mentality. On being asked about the feeling of rape, the middle-aged woman reiterated that women should not wear short dresses. In the end, the woman looked into the phone cameras and said: "these ladies want to wear short to short dress to encourage all to see them". In response to which, the shoppers present at the mall started clapping. The woman even asked the parents of the girls to "control them". The woman further asked the girls to spread the video all over the country. The video was later deleted by Instagram because it violated its community guidelines.
