Virat Kohli gets candid on mocking controversy

India has won the series against Australia by 8 wickets. But this series remained in headlines not only for it's tough competition but also for Virat Kohli and Glenn controversy.

Also, Australian media compared Kohli with US president Donald Trump. On comparison with Donald Trump by Australian media, Kohli said, "It takes courage to speak about someone when they are on top and this team regardless of whether we are on top or not, we speak. If someone pokes us, we speak about it and we give it right back. Lot of people don't digest it well but we take it very well and we give it back even better. Some people want to create spice sitting at some part in the world but when confronted with these kind of situations they've all gone through these kind of situations themselves. The easiest thing to do is sit at home and write a blog or speak on the mic and get done with it."

He added, "To come out there and bowl and bat is a different case altogether. When they know they don't have that chance of competition, it's very easy to speak and get away with it but this team doesn't take a backward step from anyone. Just because we are honest in our preparations, we are honest in our hard work and we have no explanations left for anyone in the world. What matters to us is what we do in the change room. Outside that door whatever someone says is none of our business."
