Virat Kohli may be banned for one match over raising finger on umpire's decision

New Delhi: Team India captain Virat Kohli may get a match ban. The action may be taken against him for expressing displeasure over a decision by umpire Nitin Menon in the second Test match. On the third day of the second match of the Test series being played at Chepauk Stadium in Chennai, Root, who got a life due to on-field umpire Menon off the ball of Axar Patel, considered the ball hitting Root's pads out of impact stumps.

In such a situation, during the DRS, the TV umpire gave not out to Joe Root. Kohli was furious at the umpire. They immediately went to Menon and argued with him for a long time. It was clear from Kohli's gesture that he did not like the umpire's decision. For this reason, the Indian captain now seems to be in danger.

Kohli, the captain of the Indian cricket team, now has two demerit points. In such a situation, if you get two points, then Kohli may have to sit out of the match. Having four demerit points, a Test or two ODIs, or two T20 matches is banned. If this happens then it will be a shock to the hopes of Team India's series win because Kohli is considered to be the most reliable batsman of Team India and India is very much in need of him.
