Saturday, an under-construction building distorted in suburban Kanjurmarg in which a 20 year old labourer was killed. Officials said, the accident occurred around 9.30 AM when two labourers were working inside the building at Jogeshwari-Vikroli link and the wall of a standalone structure caved in.
The deceased, identified as Indrajeet Chavan was rushed to a nearby hospital but was pronounced dead by doctors. While a further worker Mahesh Dashrath is still rapt in the trash and is yet to be rescued, he said. he added, three fire engines have been pressed into rescue operation.
