Watch: When Princess Diana admitted cutting her wrist

Princess of Wales, Diana was the first wife of Prince Charles who died in an accident in Paris on 31 August 1997, when she was 36 years old. Diana went through her ups and downs in life also. Recently, her then interview is surfaced online which makes everyone eyes teary.

Read some excerpts from the interview in which she said, "When no one listens to you, or you feel no one listens to you, all sorts of things begin to happen. You have so much pain inside yourself that you try and hurt yourself on the outside. You want help, but this is the wrong help you are asking for. People say it is crying wolf or attention seeking. They think because you are in the media all the time, you have got enough attention. But I was actually crying out as I wanted to get better, in order to go forward and continue my duty as wife, mother, princess of Wales. So yes I did inflict pain on myself. I did not like myself. I was ashamed I could not cope with the pressures. I just hurt my arms and my legs."

When Diana was asked if Prince Charles know what she was going through, she said, "No, but then, there are not many people who would have taken the time to see that."

She added, "I had Bulimia for a number of years. That is like a secret disease that you inflict upon yourself."
