Watch, Ali Fazal unveils the trailer of his upcoming Hollywood film Kandahar with Gerard Butler

One of the most loved actors in Bollywood Ali Fazal is representing India on the international platform. After his impressive performances in films like Victoria and Abdul, Death on the Nile. Fazal is now back with his most awaited Hollywood project. Ali is seen sharing screen space with Gerard Butler. The actor took to social media and shared the teaser of his upcoming film Kandahar. The film is slated to release in theatres on May 26. As soon as it caught the eyes of people they started commenting on it. Zareen Khan wrote, "Superrr". Another fan wrote, "bhai.. this is freakin firee.. all the luck for this one," another fan commented.

According to the film description, "Tom Harris (Gerard Butler), an undercover CIA operative, is stuck deep in hostile territory in Afghanistan. After his mission is exposed, he must fight his way out, alongside his Afghan translator, to an extraction point in Kandahar, all whilst avoiding elite enemy forces and foreign spies tasked with hunting them down."

Kandahar is directed by Ric Roman Waugh based on true incidents and draws inspiration from the life of a former military intelligence officer's experiences at the Defense Intelligence Agency in Afghanistan. Helmed by Ric Roman Waugh, the film star popular Scottish actor Gerard  Navid Negahban, Ali Fazal, Travis Fimmel and Elnaaz Norouzi in lead roles. It is based on Mitchell's experiences at the Defense Intelligence Agency in Afghanistan. Kandahar's filming is expected to begin soon in Saudi Arabia. The film is being produced by Thunder Road Films, G-BASE, and Capstone Group.
