Watch! Neeraj Chopra couldn't find his javelin for the finals because of a Pakistani rival..'

Neeraj Chopra, a javelin thrower, is an Indian  Gold medallist in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. When he couldn't find his spear before the first throw in the final round, the athlete became panicked. Chopra told the story of what happened on the ground only seconds before he was set to throw his first pitch.

In an interview, he said, “I was searching for my javelin at the start of the final (in Olympics). I was not able to find it. Suddenly, I saw Arshad Nadeem was moving around with my javelin. Then I told him. ‘Bhai give this javelin to me, it is my javelin! I have to throw it’. He gave it back to me. That’s why you must have seen I took my first throw hurriedly."

 

 

As we know after Abhinav Bindra, Neeraj is the first individual gold medallist and first track and field athlete who gave achieved this feat. Millions of Indian is now inspired by his game. Which has given a powerful push to sports in India.
