Weather forecast: From MP, UP to Delhi to have heat wave

Heatwave conditions have once again intensified in many areas of the country and Delhiites are once again facing the heat wave. On the other hand, people in the national capital are in a bad condition due to the heat. In fact, the mercury crossed the 44 degree Celsius mark at many places in Delhi on Saturday. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather in Delhi and NCR will remain the same. Today, the Meteorological Department has given a 'Yellow' alert for the heat. In fact, the Meteorological Department said that in the coming days, there may be a severe heat wave in some places.

At the moment, there is no possibility of rain. Mahesh Palawat, vice-president of Skymet Weather, said that heat wave conditions are expected once again in different parts of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, South Uttar Pradesh and Delhi-NCR. The IMD has forecasted rain in coastal Karnataka, south interior Karnataka, Kerala, Lakshadweep, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, north interior Karnataka and Tamil Nadu during the next four to five days. According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), there is a possibility of a cyclone in the northeast Bay of Bengal. Due to which there may be rain from south-eastern Uttar Pradesh to Nagaland. Intermittent rain is expected in Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha and Bengal for the next five days. Apart from this, if the monsoon rains have started in the southern state of Kerala, then the people of Delhi-NCR will have to wait for 2-3 weeks for the monsoon. The pre-monsoon rains amidst all this have brought some relief, but now the summer spell has started once again. The monsoon can reach Delhi, UP, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat and nearby states by June 25. The monsoon is expected to arrive in Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, and Bihar around June 15, while in Maharashtra and West Bengal, the monsoon is expected to hit by June 10.

According to Skymetweather, there will be a return of heat waves in many states of North India. Heatwave conditions are likely to prevail over isolated parts of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, south-west Uttar Pradesh, parts of Vidarbha, south Haryana and Delhi-NCR. IMD uses alert codes based on four colours to warn about the weather, which include green (no action required), yellow colour (keep an eye and stay updated), orange (be prepared) and red colour (take action).
