Orange Alert and Rainfall Warnings IMD has issued an Orange alert for Uttarakhand, Odisha, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura, Konkan, and Goa due to the likelihood of heavy rainfall and thunderstorms. In a recent update, the IMD warned that the affected areas could experience flooding, disruptions in traffic, minor road damage, and potential harm to vulnerable structures. Expected Rainfall in Key Regions Heavy to Very Heavy Rainfall: States such as Uttarakhand, Odisha, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Konkan, and Goa are expected to receive significant rainfall, with precipitation reaching or exceeding 12 cm in certain areas. Heavy Rainfall (7 cm or More): Regions including Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar, Jharkhand, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Telangana, and Coastal Karnataka are likely to experience heavy rainfall at isolated locations. Delhi Weather Forecast In Delhi, the weather is expected to remain relatively pleasant with a partially cloudy sky. Light to moderate rainfall, along with possible thundershowers, is forecast for the day. The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 36°C, while the minimum temperature is expected to be around 26°C. Mumbai Weather Forecast Mumbai is also expected to see moderate rainfall today, particularly in the evening or at night. The city will have a partly cloudy sky with the possibility of thunderstorms and gusty winds. Temperatures are predicted to range from 24°C to 35°C over the next 24 hours.
