Bihar: Met department predicts rain for next two days

Patna: Bihar's capital Patna and adjoining areas are in the grip of a severe cloudy sky on Monday and the humid heat is continuing. The Met department has predicted rain in some parts of the state in the coming one or two days. Patna recorded a minimum temperature of 30.0 degrees Celsius on Monday.

The Met Department in its forecast said that cloudy weather will continue in many parts of the state including the capital Patna during the coming 24 hours. Light to moderate rain is expected in some parts of the state during this period. Heavy rain is expected in many parts of the state's seemre region. According to Patna Meteorological Centre, the minimum temperature of Gaya on Monday was 28.3 degrees Celsius and Purnea and Bhagalpur recorded 29.0 degrees Celsius.

On Monday, Patna is likely to have a maximum temperature of around 38.0 degrees Celsius. On Sunday, Patna recorded a minimum temperature of 29.0 degrees Celsius and a maximum temperature of 39.0 degrees Celsius. However, the Met Office says that the temperature is likely to drop in the coming 24 hours.
