Lucknow: Heavy rain is raining in many parts of the country these days. In such a situation, there are only floods in some States. The MET department has now said that changing the direction of the monsoon trough line will intensify the rainfall in Uttarakhand as well as Uttar Pradesh in the coming days. This was recently informed by Meteorological Director JP Gupta. He said, "From 10th August onwards, the monsoon trough line will pass through UP, and after that, for the next three to four days, there will be light and normal rainfall in the state.'' He also said, "Heavy rain may also occur at some places during this period.'' Let me tell you that the MET department has issued an alert for heavy rain in some parts of the state on 8th August last Sunday. Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at several places in western UP and at some places in Purvanchal on the coming Monday, August 9. Heavy rain will remain on alert for the next three days in the state. In a statement issued recently, the MET department said that heavy rain and abundant rain are likely to occur at isolated places over Dehradun, Nainital, Champawat, and Pithoragarh districts today i.e. On Monday, heavy and massive rain will be alerted at isolated places over Dehradun, Nainital, Bageshwar, Champawat, and Pithoragarh districts. Heavy rain accompanied by heavy mist is on alert at isolated places in Dehradun, Tehri, Nainital, Champawat, Pithoragarh districts on Tuesday.
