What is the connection between 'Yoga' and 'Essential Oils' ?

Yoga is a great way to give your body a good workout and soothe your mind, but when you enhance your yoga practice with essential oils it will keep you feeling calm, more energetic, improve your focus with postures, build endurance, soothe sore muscles and helping you sleep better.

Essential oils such as:

 Rosemary will leave you stress-free.

Jasmine can help drive away feelings of anxiety.

Orange essential oil can ease feelings of frustration and fear.

Clary sage, lemon or lime oils will boost your mood and energizes your body.

Black pepper essential oil will relieve muscle pulls and cramps.

Cedarwood oil can help you do better with your yoga postures.

Usage of the oils:

Essential oils are very strong and could irritate your skin, dilute essential oils with a carrier oil such as coconut oil or olive oil. You can just dab some on your wrist or a massage to let the goodness get under your skin. Essential oils should be preferably used according to the season, as essential oils have specific health benefits and are more useful than other oils. For instance orange essential oil for winter, rosemary and lemon are useful when season changes and flu is in the air. Use sandalwood to keep your skin from drying out.
