MUMBAI: Stock Market tradings could be volatile in the forthcoming week as traders roll over positions in the Future and Option (F&O) segment from the near month April series to May series. The April 2021 F&O contracts will expire on Thursday, 29 April 2021. Quarterly earnings, COVID-19-related updates and global trends would drive sentiment in the equity markets this week and indices are likely to witness volatility amid derivatives expiry, say analysts. n Q4 March 2021 results, global central banks policy decisions, the movement of rupee V/s Dollar and crude oil prices, trend in global stock markets will dictate trend on the bourses in the near term. Investment by foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) and domestic institutional investors (DIIs) will be monitored. The following Stocks would be reacted based on their results:- SBI Cards & Payment Services, HDFC Life Insurance Company, and Tech Mahindra will declare their Q4 results on 26 April 2021. Axis Bank and Britannia Industries will unveil their Q4 results on 27 April 2021. Ambuja Cements, Bajaj Auto, Titan Company will declare their results for the quarter ended 31 March 2021 on 29 April 2021. IndusInd Bank will declare Q4 result on 30 April 2021. Investors would also monitor trends foreign investment, Brent crude prices and rupee movement, they said. Stock markets have witnessed volatility recently due to a record spike in local coronavirus cases amid the second wave of the pandemic in the country. The key thing to watch out for in the near future would be the US bond yields because any rise in yields can take out the FII money from developing countries like India to western markets and could also be a risk for emerging markets currencies.
