Woman set herself on fire by pouring kerosene, know why

Noida: In Noida, Uttar Pradesh, a 52-year-old woman set herself on fire by pouring kerosene on herself. The incident took place on Thursday morning. According to the information received, the woman was informed of her corona infection four days ago, after which she was in home isolation. According to the media report, the police have said that the woman has burnt about 70 percent. 

According to the family, the woman was disappointed after the corona report came out. She also had little interaction with her husband and two children on Wednesday. Police have said that the woman's name is Archana and her husband Jayaprakash Sharma has been an officer in the Indian Air Force and is now retired. They also have two children. The family lives in Raj Enclave in Badlapur, Greater Noida. According to police, the incident occurred around 4 am. At this time, other family members were sleeping. Jayaprakash's body was seen after about three hours in the morning when he woke up.

Archana's corona test took place last week. Its report came on 11 April, in which it was said that she was found positive. According to Badlapur SHO Dinesh Kumar, other members of the family had asked her to stay apart after the report came out. After this, her body was recovered by the family on Thursday. The police are currently investigating the case.
