Geneva: The head of the World Health Organization (WHO) says that in the last two weeks, there have been more than 100,000 confirmed cases of coronavirus worldwide every day. Most of the cases are in America and South Asia. The WHO chief said that "Countries, where the spread of the virus has been curbed, should be vigilant about the possibility of it growing again." WHO chief Tedross Adhamon noted the re-emergence of the Coronavirus in Beijing, where there were no Corona patients for nearly 50 days, but are still seen there. He said that how new cases in Beijing rise again is being closely investigated. The head of WHO's emergency program, Dr. Michael Ryan, said that the U.N. health agency has offered additional help to the Chinese officials, saying that in the coming days, the WHO can send its team to China. Last year the Coronavirus havoc first started in China. Tedross said that it took two months for Corona to reach 1,00,000 cases, now it has become a daily thing.
