Mumbai: There are reports of war between Congress and NCP about deputy CM chair in Uddhav Thackeray government of Maharashtra. Actually Congress is also trying to make its deputy CM. According to sources, the Congress is demanding the post of Deputy Chief Minister from the NCP in lieu of the Speaker's chair. However, under the first division of power, there was an agreement between the three parties to give the post of Deputy CM to NCP and Congress to the post of Assembly Speaker. The Congress is also ready to leave one of its quota ministries for the deputy CM. But according to sources, NCP is in favour of making Ajit Pawar as deputy CM. Only so much is going on with other ministries. The NCP is demanding the post of Home Minister to Jayant Patil, while the Congress wants to give the revenue ministry to its leader Balasaheb Thorat. Similarly, according to sources, Uddhav Thackeray is in favor of keeping the Urban Development Ministry with the Shiv Sena. However, the Maharashtra cabinet will expand after the Uddhav Thackeray government wins the majority. Preparation to prove majority on December 3. Uddhav Thackeray will take a decision regarding convening a special session of the assembly today. According to sources, the government may decide to call a special session from tomorrow to prove the election of the speaker and to prove the majority.
