New Delhi: Action against radical Islamic organization Popular Front of India (PFI) continues. According to the report, about 170 members of the organization have been detained on Tuesday (September 27) morning. During this time, the police raided 7 states. Recently, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and the Enforcement Directorate (ED) detained more than 100 PFI activists while conducting raids in 13 states. According to the report, police teams from Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Assam, Karnataka, Delhi and Maharashtra are conducting raids in their respective states. It is reported that the raids were conducted after receiving intelligence inputs related to the planning of violent demonstrations. Top intelligence sources have said that till 6 am, more than 170 cadres were detained after raids were conducted at 200 locations in seven states. According to media reports, an intelligence note has revealed that PFI was conspiring to target government agencies, BJP and RSS leaders and the organisation. According to the note, PFI workers are rattled after their senior leaders were lodged in Tihar Jail in New Delhi. The note further states that the PFI has decided to retaliate violently against the government. According to the report, PFI has chosen the path of 'Bayathis'. It is an Arabic word, which in common parlance means 'the merchant of death' or 'fidayeen', who swear to die or kill for their mentor. It is reported that NIA, police and other investigating agencies are conducting raids in these 8 states. 7 PFI leaders have been arrested from Assam. At the same time, 45 members have been caught in Karnataka. They will be produced before the local tehsildar and judicial custody will be sought. It is being told that these PFI leaders arrested or detained either tried to stop the NIA and had earlier staged protests or increased tension at the local level. In many places, Muslim children are also being trained in violence in madrasas. These people are also being trained in stone pelting and karate.
